Meetcatcher — Terms of Service (B2B)

Last updated: 6 October 2025

Effective date: upon user acceptance

1. About us and contract formation

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Meetcatcher web application and related services (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Sentiscrape s.r.o., a company incorporated in the Czech Republic, with its registered office at U Autodílen 687, Pacov, Czech Republic, Company ID (IČO): 08195099, email: info@meetcatcher.com.

By creating an account, clicking “I agree”, “Finish & publish my profile”, or otherwise using the Service, you enter into a binding contract with Meetcatcher and accept these Terms.

Business use only. The Service is intended exclusively for business users (B2B). By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are acting in the course of your business or profession and have authority to bind your organization.

2. Definitions

  • User: any registered business user of the Service.
  • Organizer / Recipient: the party that initiates a meeting request / the party that receives the request.
  • Meeting: a short online video call arranged through the Service and conducted via an integrated third-party provider (currently Daily.co).
  • Tokens: prepaid, non-monetary, non-transferable usage units that can be purchased through our payment processor and are consumed to organize Meetings and for other paid features in the Service. Tokens are not money, e-money, a deposit, or a stored value.
  • Public Directory: the public listing of users who have opted to publish their professional profile.

3. Scope of the Service and our role

Meetcatcher is a B2B matchmaking and scheduling platform for short video Meetings between professionals. We do not sell your products or services, and we do not participate in, guarantee, or underwrite any commercial outcome of a Meeting. We provide the platform; Users are solely responsible for the content of Meetings, any promises made, and any subsequent business relationship.

We may integrate third-party services (e.g., Daily.co for video, Stripe for payments). Your use of such services is also governed by the third party’s terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages, quality, or behavior.

4. Accounts, eligibility, and verification

You must provide accurate and complete registration information and keep it up to date. We may request additional verification (e.g., company details, VAT ID) or deny/suspend accounts at our discretion, including to comply with law, sanctions, or to prevent fraud or abuse.

We may suspend or terminate any account immediately if we suspect breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, fraud, abusive behavior, evasion, or risk to other users or to the Service.

5. Profiles and the Public Directory

Your profile becomes eligible for listing in the Public Directory only after you complete the required fields (e.g., name, surname, languages, company name, company size, industry, tags, company description). You can later deactivate your listing in Credits.

Publishing your profile in the Public Directory requires your explicit action in the product (e.g., pressing “Finish & publish my profile”). You may alternatively leave your profile without publishing it. Public profiles do not display personal contact details such as email or phone.

By submitting profile content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content for operating and promoting the Service. You retain ownership of your content.

6. Meetings: availability, confirmation, and scheduling

To request Meetings you must (i) have sufficient Tokens and (ii) maintain available time slots in your calendar. A Meeting request is pending until the Recipient selects one of the Organizer’s available slots (or declines).

  • If the Recipient declines, or does not respond within 14 days, the request is automatically declined and the Organizer’s Tokens used for that request are returned.
  • If a user is invited to a meeting but does not respond (neither accepts nor declines) within fourteen (14) days, such inactivity may negatively affect their standing within the Service. This may result in lower Token rewards or reduced visibility in future Meetings, similarly to receiving a poor rating. The purpose of this measure is to encourage active participation and maintain a reliable marketplace experience for all users.
  • A Meeting starts when both parties join the room. If neither party joins within 20 minutes of the scheduled start, the Meeting is automatically ended.

7. Cancellations and penalties

You agree that transparent penalties are necessary to protect other users’ time and to keep the marketplace functional. Penalties are automatically applied by the Service as described:

If the Organizer cancels a confirmed Meeting:

  • More than 12 hours before start: 50% of the Tokens originally spent are returned to the Organizer.
  • 12 hours or less before start: 10% of the Tokens originally spent are returned.

If the Recipient cancels a confirmed Meeting:

  • More than 12 hours before start: Tokens in value equal to 10% of the Recipient’s potential Meeting reward are deducted from the Recipient’s balance.
  • 12 hours or less before start: Tokens in value equal to 50% of the Recipient’s potential Meeting reward are deducted.

No-show (failure to attend a scheduled, not-cancelled Meeting):

  • The no-showing party will be charged Tokens equal to 10% of that party’s total Token balance at the time of penalty assessment. For clarity, this is calculated on the entire balance, including Tokens allocated to pending or uncompleted Meetings.
  • If both parties fail to join within 20 minutes, the Meeting is ended automatically.

If your balance is insufficient to apply a deduction, your balance may be reduced to zero and scheduling may be restricted until you purchase additional Tokens.

8. Tokens: purchase, use, and refunds

  • Tokens can be purchased via our payment processor (currently Stripe). Pricing may vary by quantity and is displayed in the Service.
  • All Token purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law or where we, at our sole discretion, decide otherwise in individual cases (contact info@meetcatcher.com).
  • Tokens have no monetary value, are non-transferable, and may not be sold, exchanged, or traded.
  • Tokens are consumed upon initiating eligible actions (e.g., submitting a Meeting request). If the request is declined or auto-declined after 14 days without response, Tokens are returned as per Section 6.
  • We may adjust Token rewards or consumption logic over time to improve marketplace quality, including effects tied to Meeting completion and ratings.

9. Payments, taxes, and invoices

You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for Token purchases. Prices are shown excluding VAT, unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes, including value added tax (VAT), are calculated automatically during checkout based on your location and tax status.

A payment receipt is issued automatically upon successful payment. Tax invoices are not issued automatically, but may be provided where required by applicable law or upon reasonable request. You are responsible for any tax obligations arising from your use of the Service or from outcomes of Meetings.

Chargebacks, payment reversals, or disputes may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

10. Ratings, reputation, and quality controls

After a Meeting, the Organizer may rate the quality and value of the conversation. Ratings may affect a user’s reputation, visibility, or Token rewards. You must not manipulate ratings, submit fraudulent reviews, or engage in reciprocal-rating schemes.

We may apply automated and manual checks, introduce identity or role verification, and take actions (including suspension) to protect marketplace quality.

11. User responsibilities and prohibited conduct

You are solely responsible for:

  • the content of your profile, messages, and Meetings;
  • obtaining and maintaining required equipment, stable internet, a working camera and microphone;
  • complying with all applicable laws (e.g., advertising, anti-spam, competition, privacy, export controls, sanctions).

You must not:

  • harass, threaten, defame, discriminate, or share illegal, harmful, or infringing content;
  • solicit or pressure users to circumvent the Service (e.g., arranging Meetings off-platform to avoid Tokens);
  • scrape, mine, reverse engineer, or unduly burden the Service;
  • misrepresent identity, role, company, or authorization;
  • record Meetings without all parties’ explicit consent and compliance with applicable laws;
  • upload or publish others’ personal data without a lawful basis.

Anti-circumvention. You agree not to circumvent or attempt to circumvent the Service, including by directing other users to transact or schedule Meetings outside of the Service to avoid Tokens. We may assess a reasonable fee equivalent to the avoided Tokens and/or suspend or terminate your account.

12. Content rights and takedowns

You represent and warrant you have all rights necessary to publish your profile content and to use it in Meetings. We may remove or edit content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or the law.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy (separate document), which explains how we process personal data, including the use of third-party processors (e.g., Daily.co, Stripe). For Public Directory listing, the product requires an explicit, informed action from you to publish your profile.

14. Service changes, availability, and support

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time with or without notice. We try to keep the Service available but provide no uptime guarantees. Support is provided on a commercially reasonable basis via info@meetcatcher.com.

15. Termination and account measures

We may, with immediate effect and without liability, suspend or terminate your account, remove content, or restrict features if we reasonably suspect:

  • breach of these Terms or applicable law;
  • fraud, abuse, harassment, hate, or unsafe conduct;
  • attempts to circumvent Tokens or platform rules;
  • chargebacks, non-payment, or risk to other users or to the Service.

You may delete your account at any time in the application. Account deletion cancels all scheduled Meetings and returns Tokens to Organizers as applicable by product logic at the time of deletion. Some data may be retained to comply with law or to protect our legitimate interests (see Privacy Policy).

16. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

No warranties. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

No responsibility for Meetings. We do not control what happens during Meetings and disclaim all liability for Meeting content, promises, performance, or outcomes (including business opportunities, sales, or advice given).

Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meetcatcher and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) EUR 100 or (b) the total amount you paid to us for Tokens in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

The Service may include a blog or similar informational resources containing articles, insights, or opinions authored by Meetcatcher or third parties. Such content is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice. While we strive for accuracy, the information may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors. Users should not rely on this content as a basis for business or legal decisions, and Meetcatcher assumes no responsibility for any actions taken based on such information.

Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Meetcatcher and its affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to: (i) your content or Meetings; (ii) your breach of these Terms or law; (iii) your use of the Service; or (iv) your interaction with other users.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic (excluding its conflict-of-law rules). The exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes shall be the courts of the Czech Republic, with local jurisdiction of the courts in Prague.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes materially affect your rights, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., in-app notice or email). Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance.

20. Communications and notices

You consent to receive service-related communications electronically (e.g., in-app messages, emails). Legal notices to us must be sent to info@meetcatcher.com and to our registered office.

21. Miscellaneous

  • Severability. If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
  • No waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and any product-level policies referenced herein) constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
